What is Mediation?
Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution. It is when a neutral third party helps you and an other individual (also called parties) work through your disagreements outside of court. Mediation is always confidential and anything said in the mediation remains between the parties and the mediator unless it is written into the final agreement. It is also voluntary, in the sense that all decisions and agreements are made by the parties and not the mediator.

Mediation is beneficial because it:
-Helps improve and open communication between parties
-Allows parties to create their own agreement instead of having a judge decide
-Reduces costs that can come with court hearings
-Is a neutral environment in which to discuss difficult topics and issues
ABOUT HOLLI
As an attorney and mediator Holli has dedicated her career to helping people, whether it's parents and children going through the legal process or helping people improve their communication. She is a skilled and compassionate mediator who has helped over 4000 people through difficult conversations including divorce, child custody, and post-decree matters.

Holli graduated from the University of Denver in 2011, with a degree in Human Communications with a focus on Interpersonal Relationships. She then went onto graduate from the University of Colorado Law School with a certificate in Family and Juvenile Law in 2014. She received her mediation certification in 2014 and has been mediating for various organizations since then, including Boulder Community Mediation Services, Jefferson County Mediation Service, and Oval Options. Holli began her career by working for the State of Colorado as a Family Court Facilitator for the 17th Judicial District. While working as a Family Court Facilitator, Holli mediated parties' disagreements and helped them navigate the court process. Holli took some time off to be with her family but returned to mediation in 2020 and started Crane Mediation Services in 2021. In 2023, Holli became a Contract Mediator with State Office of Dispute Resolution and continues to focus on helping families through this emotional process.

TYPES OF CASES
Divorce
When the parties need to divide all assets/belongings in order to proceed with a Dissolution of Marriage.
Child Custody
Referred to as Allocation of Parental Responsibilities by the courts, this is when there was not a marriage between parties and they need to determine a parenting time schedule, decision-making, and possibly child support.
Post-Decree
Post-decree modifications are when there is already a court-ordered parenting plan in place but parties would like to update or modify it.

Price: $75 per party per hour for each mediation for divorce/child cases*
*Reduced fees available for those who qualify through Office of Dispute Resolution. Additionally, County Court cases will have a different fee structure applied. Please contact us for more information.

One-on-one meeting with an experienced expert to answer all of your questions about divorce or child custody.
